Recent activities with a few of my planes have created a need to patch a few holes in the top of the wing. Seems that flying low through the weeds is a bit hard on the top of the wing.
So, I've had to do a bit of patching and I thought I'd share the results of my work.
Now, sometimes you just don't have quite the right color to provide a truly invisible repair. More often than not my color choices are WAY OFF! But I don't mind. I'm not a stickler for scale detail or color, and it shows in several of my planes. But I also don't have any trouble laughing.

So, here's an example of my recent repair to the wing of my Avistar. You will notice I'm sure that the patch is a few shades off. However I find that if you add a few accents, like a chrome trim panel and a couple of bullet holes, your eye is drawn away from the slight color mismatch, there by reducing the obvious repair.

I hope this tip is helpful to you as it often is for me.

If you've got any better, let's see it!
Remember to have fun, or don't play.

What's better than flying an airplane?
Well, it's flying two airplanes at once in tight formation!

Gonna wow the crowd with that one!
